God, who breaks through all barriers, give me a heart like David’s. David always asked for Your guidance before he took any action. I also want to hear from You before stepping into my next relationship, before starting my new job, before starting my next diet. David never jumped into battles without Your directive; help me do the same.
Also, Lord, I appreciate that when David succeeded, he always thanked You. He knew his victories were Your doing. Lord, sometimes I forget to say thank you. Help me develop gratitude like David.
God, when the Philistines attacked David a second time, You demonstrated Your incredible power to him. He could hear angels marching before him. I confess I’ve been fearful of the supernatural. I worry about miscommunication with the spiritual world, confusion created by evil powers. Please aid my doubts, Lord. From today, I want to embrace the supernatural, trusting in faith. Assist me in witnessing Your supernatural power working for me. Just like You did for David and Elisha’s assistant, open my eyes to see the angels working for me.
Lord, I love You. I want to pursue You throughout my life. Please reward my quest with Your divine presence. In the name of Jesus, amen.
