Heavenly Father, I am overjoyed and thankful for the gentle whispers You send my way, and for the swift answers You provide. Guide me to be a better guardian of Your messages. I recently sought out wisdom and I now trust that what resonates within me is directly from You.
Today, my plea is for discernment and aptitude in managing relationships – be it with family, friends, business colleagues, strangers or casual acquaintances. I’ve come to the realization that I haven’t fully appreciated the bonds with many individuals You’ve carefully placed upon my life’s path. I ask for transformation – to become a better communicator, a superior connector, and overall more adept at nurturing and managing my relationships.
Looking through the lens of Your Sacred Scripture, I see that the Shunamite woman encountered a miracle through Elisha, Your prophet. In a desperate hour, it was Elisha, amid her vital relationship with him, that You used as a conduit to resurrect her son.
Just as Saul accessed the apostles through Ananias, his advocate, and Peter, known by his church community, had them intercede in prayer for him while he was imprisoned – I ask: Who do I know, Lord? With whom should I foster a stronger bond, so they too may support me in times of trials?
Joseph rose to Egypt’s prime minister, courtesy of an inmate advocating for him. Who stands for me in my absence, Lord? Grant me sight to see.
David was kept safe by his relationship with Jonathan. Lord, reveal who my Jonathan is. Aid me in understanding.
I am aware that these bonds, without You, hold no significant value. You are my wellspring, but my eyes have opened to a fresh revelation – You often work through humans to deliver blessings.
I express my belief that every individual in my path has been arranged by You. However, I must bear the responsibility for nurturing and expanding these relationships.
Father, guide me not to exploit, but rather to honor the hidden purpose in every connection You’ve graced me with. Illuminate the importance of these relationships and facilitate my understanding of Your plan within these connections.
