I strongly believe that living a victorious life has nothing to do with perfection. But it’s about what you do with your lowest moments… What you do after your worst mistakes… What you do when your loved ones betray you… What you do after you are done wrong! Do these moments become school fees in the school of character or greatest regrets that paralyze you for life? Remember whenever you feel condemned the source of that condemnation is NEVER God…
A JUST man falls seven times but what makes him just is his ability to always rise again. Sometimes he rises immediately, sometimes he will rise two weeks later or a year later but what makes him JUST is his ability to rise up again. David was a just man.. A man after God’s heart. Do you see anything perfect about David’s life? I didn’t think so…
I remember worst moments in my life were the years 2001-2008. Those were the most painful years of my adult life. I remember sitting at his feet towards the end of 2008. September 2008 to be more precise and making a conscious decision to sit at his feet until I felt whole… it’s been a while… that he made me whole… now and then I wake up and look for that pain and I can’t locate it. I’m surprised It’s gone forever. Again… Victory is not about perfection. It’s about getting up each time. Some get up quicker than others. But who cares….. just don’t give up on getting up.
Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed 2020. Some have already called it 20plenty. I don’t know what it will bring but one thing I know for sure is He will crown my year with His goodness and answer me with awesome deeds…. and while He is at it I know He will give me the grace to always get up!!!
GET UP! LIVE VICTORIOUSLY….
