“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:5
God commands us to CAST DOWN EVERY imagination that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. The dictionary defines the word cast as “throw (something) forcefully in a specified direction”. If our thoughts have to be aligned to what God says about us, it is not going to happen passively. We have to get intentional. We have to tap into the might of God and throw those things away by force. I imagine when we’ve applied all that intentionality and might we are not going to throw something down and then pick it up again. Even when circumstances change. We have be us unshakable.
Any thought that says South Africa will perish, surely cannot be true as the word of God has promised us that: “if my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, I will hear from heaven and heal their land”. As long as we are here, we can call upon His name to bring deliverance. Any thought that says God has forsaken South Africa surely cannot be true as His word says: “ For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him”. His angels run to and fro in expectation for us to speak a word of healing, a word of peace, a word of deliverance. Surely as we speak, He shall bring it to pass. He shall show himself strong on our behalf. Any thought that says good is going to be overcome by evil in the nation of South Africa, surely cannot be true, as His word clearly says, “Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.” This says to me he has empowered and positioned us to let good overcome evil. God will never command us to do something that was impossible to do. He says when we keep doing good, evil shall be overcome. Surely any thought that says the church has been overcome by the gates of hell, cannot be true as His word says: “Upon this rock I will establish my church, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” Therefore the church in South Africa will never be overcome. We await restoration of the church to its former glory. We call every intercessor to take their place. We ask in JOY knowing victory belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ, as the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Surely every thought that says, South Africa is beyond repair, there is no hope for this nation can not be true as the word of God says: ““Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it, the LORD is His name: Call to Me and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Therefore no problem or issue in this nation is beyond resolution. As we turn to Him, He will give us strategies, that are going to take this nation forward, into a place of prosperity for all its people.
I am here to remind you today CAST every imagination that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. “He will never leave us nor forsake us”. Therefore I believe He will show us how to do that. He will enable us to do that. If we are humble we will be taught by the Lord. Again, cast down every imagination exalting itself above the knowledge of God. Line up to his will and expect great and mighty deliverance for this nation. Even in this election season…………..
