For The Single And Waiting

This message is for my single female friends who’ve been waiting patiently for a life partner. Taking a pause this afternoon, I felt compelled to boost your spirits and assure you to keep pushing forward. God wants to fulfil your heart’s wishes. Some of you may be questioning, or worse, indifferent about your chance to find a partner, which is exactly what the adversary wants.

I am here, sent by the divine, to assure you that you will find your soulmate. Stay unwavering in your belief. An affirmation that I often resort to is: “Lord, I believe; help my lack of trust.”

John says, “Until now you have asked nothing in my name; ask and receive, that your joy may be fulfilled.” Some scripture versions refer to it as completed joy. This implies that God is aware of our deepest desires and knows that our joy won’t be complete unless they’re fulfilled.

In these times, I recall stories of people from the scriptures who had to wait longer than most for their blessings. Hope these stories can uplift you.

Consider the story of Hannah, who persistently prayed to God for a child. Her devout plea was so fervent that the priest assumed she was intoxicated. I believe she was genuine. Some days, I imagine that her prayer might have been laced with anger toward God. While I can’t confirm this, the scriptures do reveal that the intensity of her prayer was misconstrued as a drunken rant.

The story of Elisha, a widow and her two sons, also comes to mind. It reflects a plea of urgent earnestness. She was on the brink of losing her sons due to her debts and prayed ardently for a solution. How many of us have expressed such raw urgency in our prayers?

I know that when it comes to praying for a husband, I’ve consistently shown my strength before God. But I also realize that this period of waiting is enabling me to grow in how I communicate with my divine father. Some of us really need to reach out to God with a simple: “Father God, help. Bring him now. If you don’t assist, I’m afraid of…

Request his presence now. I fear that if you don’t make him appear, I may start to question my faith in you. There’s a high chance I’ll settle for someone who isn’t aligned with my spiritual beliefs. While I understand this may not apply to everyone, whatever truth needs to be stated should be expressed. God won’t be shocked by your sentiments; after all, these thoughts have been on your mind. He wants you to recognize where you stand, paving the way for Him to guide you to a place of security and comfort.

When God questioned Adam and Eve about their whereabouts, it wasn’t out of ignorance, but to provoke them into realizing they’d strayed. The divine process of healing and renewal only commences when we admit to our transgressions. So, call out to Him like that widow did. We all know the end of her story – she received far more than she could’ve ever dreamed of.

Let’s consider the tale of Elisha and the Shunamite woman. This story may resonate with those who’ve been in relationships that always end in disappointment, leading to a sense of despondency. The Shunamite woman provides an inspirational example. She had been childless for years until Elisha, a man of God, prayed for her, and she became pregnant. However, as the child matured, he tragically died. Despite her readiness to surrender to defeat, God had other plans. Elisha brought her son back to life.

I want to share this message of hope with you, don’t accept defeat. Don’t resign to that feeling. Trust that what you desire, a husband, is what the Master wants for you as well. Look to Him and trust His plan. If your relationship is on the brink of collapsing and you believe your partner is a heaven-sent gift, don’t concede to the negative circumstances. Entrust the matter to Jesus, allowing His divine intervention. The same power that breathed life back into the Shunamite’s child can resurrect your dreams of marriage and pave the way to find a husband.

By this time next year, you’ll be singing a different tune. Please share your testimonies with me, as I’ll want to coordinate my schedule to avoid conflicts and attend your weddings.

Blessings and love from above.
