I haven’t been able to shake off this song since Sunday night! I appreciate the artist’s sincerity and emotional rawness. As I chimed in with the lyrics, I’ve come to understand that we can know about God’s goodness intellectually, but still not fully grasp its entirety.
Like Kim Burell, my only prayer this week is to ask the Lord to open my heart’s door, allowing me to receive His favor and blessings. I yearn for all His blessings – His vision for me to live in prosperity, in sound health, in fulfilling relationships, in sanctity, restored in His presence, immersed in His spirit! He desires to dwell in this temple of mine, radiating His glory throughout my life. Thus, I beseech the Lord to unlatch my heart, enabling me to fully receive His essence!
Here’s my plea: “Lord, open my heart, so I can embrace and bathe in all your blessings and favor. I request you Lord, open my heart, let me welcome, let me receive. I want to take in all of your blessings, I beseech you to open the doorways of my heart. I hereby open myself to receive you in all your glory and magnificence, and again, in all your resplendent glory and splendor.”
