Embracing Grace: A Tale of the Saved Broken Bride

These lyrics “The stone the builders rejected, laid to ransom a broken bride” mean a lot to me! When most men decide to marry a woman, they see her as perfect – otherwise why would they marry her, right?

Yet, God sees us in a different light. He knows me and all my imperfections. Still, He chose to save me. He didn’t imagine me as perfect, but knew I was broken from the start. In that condition, He still gave me a life goal! He made me feel special and valuable! I sometimes think God is shortchanging Himself by choosing me. I feel like I’m not good enough! But He doesn’t care about that because who I become is up to Him!

Then starts His never-ending journey of healing me. The surprising thing is that even while I’m healing, He still considers me a queen! I guess that’s because my status isn’t decided by me, but by who my father is!

Being loved by God is the best feeling because His love is so genuine and supportive. His love truly helps me grow! How could any woman not fall in love with Him?
