Losing both parents puts death on your mind a lot. But tonight, I found comfort in the Lord’s promise from Psalm 91:6-7. It says, “I won’t be scared of the horrors that come out at night, or the threats that fly around in the day. Neither will I fear the illnesses that lurk in the darkness, or the sudden disasters that can happen at midday.”
Your love never changes and your word is always true. And as I head to bed tonight, I’m asking you to keep my brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends safe and healthy for a long time. Thanks for promising that your angels will be there to protect them in the night, no matter where they are, until they wake up to a new day. I ask all this, trusting in Jesus’ name.
